Warriors of World War I and Beyond    

On May 5 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, attend a special event devoted to the story of Sikhs in World War I. The afternoon will include:

  • Film screening of All Quiet on the Home Front, the remarkable story of Bhagat Singh Thind, the first Sikh to serve in the US Army in World War I wearing his articles of faith, and the landmark Supreme Court case that followed in 1923
  • Panel discussion with the film’s director and Army Lieutenant Colonel Kamal S. Kalsi
  • Presentation of the exhibition Warriors of World War I: Sikh Art and Heritage
